1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Knew website or services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

2. Who We Are

Knew is a telehealth-only medical practice providing NP-led weight management care under a Collaborative Practice Agreement with a supervising physician. Knew has no physical office location; all care is delivered by phone, video, and secure messaging.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and physically located in a state where Knew is licensed to provide care to use our services. Our services are not available where prohibited by law.

4. Medical Disclaimer

Content on this website is for general informational purposes and is not a substitute for individualized medical advice. Nothing on this website establishes a provider-patient relationship — that relationship begins only after you complete intake and a live visit with a licensed provider. Knew does not provide emergency care. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.

5. Not a Guarantee of Treatment

Scheduling a visit does not guarantee you will be prescribed medication. Prescribing decisions are made at the clinical discretion of your treating NP, in collaboration with our supervising Physician, based on your individual evaluation.

6. Payment & Billing

• Knew is a cash-pay service; we do not bill insurance directly.
• Plans are billed monthly with no long-term contract, and can be paused or cancelled at any time by contacting your care team.
• There are no refunds for services rendered or medication already dispensed.
• A missed or late-cancelled live visit may be subject to a fee, as described in your Patient Consent.
• We reserve the right to adjust pricing at any time, including in response to changes in pharmacy, compounding, or fulfillment costs. We will provide at least 30 days' advance notice of any price change affecting your current plan. If you do not wish to continue at the new price, you may cancel before the change takes effect with no penalty.

7. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your patient portal login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

8. Prohibited Conduct

• Providing false or misleading health information to your care team
• Using the website or services for any unlawful purpose
• Attempting to access another patient's information or account
• Interfering with the operation or security of our website or platform

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, and the Knew name and logo — is the property of Knew Weight Loss and Wellness, LLC or its licensors, and may not be used without permission.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our website and services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Knew and its affiliates are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or services. Nothing in this section limits liability where such limitation is not permitted by law, including for gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except as otherwise required by the law of the state where you are physically located at the time of your care.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our website or services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
